No one really knows how The Power came to be. Not even the Book of Damnation recorded it's beginning. But those who mastered it have always been hunted. In the middle of the 17th Century, many escaped the brutal Witch-hunting in England and France by coming to America. As the brutal persecution of those with The Power spread throughout Massachusetts, the families of Ispwich formed a Covenant of silence. And for 300 years, it has kept them safe. Until now. The great darkness has come back and is threatening the lives of many witches and warlocks. Sweeping through towns and cities as it drives out The Power and the ones owning it. The Darkness has already claimed lives of many holding The Power, but will the students of Spenser Academy, the ones that hold the 300-year-old secret, be able to defeat it?

Spenser Academy is a school for students. It's a giant castle-like school with large dorms.What the staff doesn't know is that there is a group of students, The Covenant, that are just witches and warlocks. They all have The Power. The power to anything. But the more you use it, the more it weakens you. When using their powers, warlocks and witches eyes go solid black. Their whole eyes, not just the iris.

No one is more powerful than Caleb. He was the first one to ascend, meaning he was the first one to go into his full powers. No other witch will ascend until their eighteenth birthday. If you're character is eighteen or turning eighteen than tell me and ask if they can ascend.

It's not pretty.

Lightning shoots through the sky and The Power electricutes the witch/warlock for quite a bit until they are lifted into the air and eventually dropped on the ground. Than they will have their full power. Also Caleb is the most powerful because his father gave up his life to give Caleb his powers. It wasn't because Caleb's selfish, it's because his life was in danger.
